A random encounter brought Elya and Sven together as they both performed their original songs at an open mic night. They immediately clicked, appreciating each other’s work and feeling a strong musical connection that has guided their songwriting journey ever since. The lyrics and music have flowed continuously, offering a heartfelt reflection on their own lives – from love and friendship to loss and hope, and everything in between – enhanced by the harmony of their voices and instruments. Their music is heavily influenced by acoustic folk, reminiscent of CSN and James Taylor, with a touch of modern indie folk.
