Jean-Yves Jung is a renowned French jazz pianist and organist known for his work in both traditional and modern jazz. He is particularly recognized for his mastery of the Hammond organ and his ability to blend various jazz styles with other genres like blues and funk.
Jung has collaborated with a wide range of well-known musicians and bands, including guitarists such as Billy Cobham, Biréli Lagrène and Philip Catherine, as well as being a member of the famous Strasbourg-based jazz-funk band, “The Big Band de Haguenau.” His versatility as a musician has made him a sought-after artist in the European jazz scene.
