Four exceptional jazz musicians from the international jazz scene will come together as part of the 2024 artist residency.
Over the course of five days, Sasha Mashin (drums), Pol Belardi (vibraphone, piano), Makar Novikov (double bass) and Pierre Coq-Amann (saxophone) – artists with different musical artists with different musical backgrounds were invited to Cube 521 to share their musical vision.
Through exchange and sound experiments, they explore the broad spectrum of jazz and share their musical approaches. At this “Artist Rendezvous”, the musicians pool their individual jazz sound and creative energy.
At the halfway point of the residency, the musicians will give a curious audience an insight into their artistic creative process. On 15 February 2024, the four musicians will play together at the Ancien Cinéma Café-Club in Vianden. This concert is being organised in collaboration with BlueBird Music a.s.b.l., Cube 521 and Ancien Cinéma a.s.b.l.
