This website is a purely informational site about Blue Bird's concerts and activities. It runs no advertising or social-media tracking scripts, and it has no online form that submits data to us directly.

If you email us or write to us by post, we process the personal data you choose to share (for example, your name and email address) only to respond to you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling enquiries or, where relevant, to take steps at your request before you become a member (Article 6(1)(f) or 6(1)(b) GDPR).

If you become a member or donor, we process the data needed to administer your membership or donation for as long as required by our accounting and legal retention obligations under Luxembourg law (generally up to 10 years for accounting records).

Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for a limited period, for security and operational purposes, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and functioning (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, provided by our hosting provider, to measure aggregate visitor numbers, page views, and page loading performance. Neither sets cookies, and neither identifies or tracks individual visitors across websites; Web Analytics distinguishes visits only by a hash of the request data that is discarded after 24 hours. This is done on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and keeping it fast (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

This website does not set any cookies for visitors browsing the public site — no analytics, advertising, or preference cookies are used. The visitor statistics described in section 4 work without cookies.

The only cookie used anywhere on this domain is a single strictly-necessary session cookie, set exclusively when a staff member logs into the password-protected content management area used to publish events and news. It is never set for public visitors and is not used for tracking. Because it is strictly necessary for that login function, no consent is required for it under the amended Luxembourg Act of 30 May 2005 on the protection of personal data in the electronic communications sector (loi modifiée du 30 mai 2005), which implements the EU ePrivacy Directive.

Under Chapter III of the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data. To exercise any of them, email bluebirdasbl@gmail.com; we will reply within one month, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR. Exercising your rights is free of charge.

Because this website is hosted with Vercel Inc., a US-based provider, some personal data (such as the technical logs and visitor statistics described in section 4) may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we rely on Vercel's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

This notice, and any dispute relating to this website, is governed by the law of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The courts of Luxembourg have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory protections available to you under the law of your country of residence.
