Back to the roots: in the Standards Trio with Arthur Possing on piano, Pit Dahm on drums, and Pol Belardi on bass, the great composers of jazz history are honoured. With a preference for their early favourites in the jazz realm, the group presents a selection of their favourite works from the pens of masters such as Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter, Duke Ellington, Horace Silver, and George Gershwin. The trio draws on spontaneity and interactivity to create re-imagined and fresh versions, while still maintaining respect for tradition.
