For about ten years, the « Roberto Bossard New Group » has been touring across Europe. The « New » in the name reflects the constantly renewed spirit, creative ideas, and unwavering enthusiasm that the band brings to the stage through original compositions and carefully crafted arrangements. The band is led by five outstanding musicians whose virtuosity and musicality create a captivating experience. Notably, Roberto Bossard’s full, warm tone on his 1949 Gibson ES 5 is particularly remarkable, with its magic fully coming to life through his masterful playing.

- Roberto Bossard, Guitar: Over four decades of jazz roots influence his modern sound. He blends tradition with contemporary freshness.
- Toni Bechtold, Saxophone: From Heidenheim, he conquers the jazz scene with technical brilliance and musical depth.
- Lukas Gernet, Piano: Raised in a musical family, he combines classical training with the freedom of jazz, impressing with his solos and sensitivity.
- Raffaele Bossard, Bass: A sought-after bassist, rhythmic pillar with surprising improvisations and a powerful sound.
- Dominic Egli, Drums: Started at age ten, studied in Bern and New York, played with icons like Andy Scherrer and Dave Douglas, and features on over 45 CDs.
