The Jean-Yves Jung Organ Trio blends enduring jazz traditions with a modern touch. Led by the acclaimed French jazz pianist and organist Jean-Yves Jung, the trio highlights his remarkable talent across both classic and contemporary jazz styles. Renowned for his expertise on the Hammond organ, Jean-Yves effortlessly merges a range of genres — including blues and funk — producing a lively and captivating sound that resonates with both jazz aficionados and newcomers alike.
Throughout his career, Jung has collaborated with many distinguished musicians and bands, such as guitarists Billy Cobham, Biréli Lagrène, and Philip Catherine. He has also been a member of the renowned Strasbourg jazz-funk ensemble, “The Big Band de Haguenau.” His versatility as a musician has established him as a highly sought-after artist on the European jazz scene.
