BMAD-Trio spielt Boogie Music gegen Depressionen
Die Jazz-Initiative Eifel überrascht immer wieder mit ungewöhnlichen Jazz-Angeboten. Dieses Mal ist es eine Band mit einem sehr originellen Namen:
BMAD, auch bekannt als Boogie Music Against Depression, wurde im Jahr 2020 während der Pandemie als Duo gegründet, um Freude zu bereiten und vor Depression zu schützen. Im Jahr 2023 wurde BMAD zum Trio erweitert mit Christian Ries am Klavier und Gesang mit seiner markanten Stimme, Paulo Simões an der Gitarre und Rob Schauls am Schlagzeug.
BMAD begeistert das Publikum mit einer fesselnden Mischung aus Boogie-Woogie, Blues und zeitlosen Jazz-Klassikern sowie mit originellen Eigenkompositionen. BMAD, aka Boogie Music Against Depression (or Blues Makes A Difference), was established in 2020 amidst the pandemic as a duo, intent on having a good time and shielding themselves from drifting into depression. By 2023, BMAD expanded into a trio, with Christian Ries playing the piano and singing with his gravelly voice, Paulo Simões strumming the guitar, and Rob Schauls commanding the drums.
BMAD delights audiences with a captivating blend of boogie-woogie, blues, and timeless jazz classics, alongside their own compositions.
